FAQs during Covid-19

Can I visit the showroom?

No. Unfortunately, in line with the latest government guidelines surrounding Covid-19, we have had to temporarily close the showroom until the government advises that is safe to reopen. 

However we are still very much on hand to help with any enquiries you might have and to ensure your order progresses through the system and reaches you safely.  You can speak to us directly on +44 (0)1730 894754, email us shop@snug-interiors.com and shop online.  

Can I still place an order with snuginteriors?

Yes, of course. Our showroom is closed, but we are still very much open for business.  This means you can shop with us online at snug-interiors.com, or for those who prefer to speak to a member of our team, you can place your order over the phone on +44 (0)1730 894754. 

Can somebody help me choose the right bed or mattress without trying it in the showroom first?

Yes. Our team are expertly trained to help you on the feel of all of our beds and mattresses and know the models inside and out, quite literally.  They will ask the right questions to determine which bed or mattress will suit you best and provide the right level of support for you and your partner.  They can also guide you through the many options for customising your bed; from choosing different base types, to storage, fabric and leg options.  Our personal service ensures you get all the information you need to make the right choices.  

How are snuginteriors keeping customers safe when shopping in-store?

We have introduced a number of new safety measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for all, including:

  • We are operating a strict social distancing policy of no more than 3 sets of customers in the showroom at any one time – this allows for 1-2-1 service with our bed experts and a minimum 660 square feet to yourselves.
  • We have disposable bed sheets for each and every customer trying mattresses and beds, so you can be certain you are lying on a fresh, clean surface every time.
  • We can offer contactless/handsfree payment transactions
  • We are ensuring the store is kept clean at all times with an enhanced daily cleaning procedure and regular deep cleans
  • We have provided our staff with face masks and full face visors for their own protection, which they will wear when any customers are in the showroom.  In line with government guidelines, we also ask customers to wear their own face masks.
  • We are avoiding any physical contact, such as handshakes, and are keeping a strict 2m distance between staff and our customers 
  • We have antibacterial hand-sanitiser throughout the store and are asking customers to use this when entering

Are delivery times affected?

We're pleased to confirm all of our British Bed manufacturers and our delivery teams are remaining open as normal during the current lockdown and production will continue as scheduled.  

All of our product pages state the approximate lead time and are quoted in good faith according to the current conditions and advice.

If your order is delayed due to a change in Government restrictions or supply chain disruption, you will be notified by us at the earliest opportunity. Rest assured, your order will be made and delivered as quickly as possible.

Can I still take delivery of parcels and is it safe?

Yes. All small items such as bedding and mattress protectors are delivered via couriers, who continue to operate during this period. Public Health England has advised there is no additional risk in contracting the coronavirus (Covid-19) by taking delivery of a parcel.  

Is it possible to have a contact-free delivery?

Yes. For your peace of mind, we can offer contact-free deliveries for both couriered items and our large bed and furniture deliveries. You can request orders to be left in front of your door or placed in a safe place, and you will not be required to touch the hand-held device to sign for the delivery

Can I still have my new bed or mattress delivered to the room of my choice?

Yes.  We have now resumed our 2-man delivery service to the room of choice for those customers that would like this service.  We can also unpack and assemble the items (where necessary) and remove all packaging.

Can I still have my old bed or mattress collected and recycled?

Yes.  We have now resumed our popular collection and recycling service as an easy method for you to dispose of your old bed or mattress.  

Can I still make returns?

Yes. We are still processing returns. Please see our return instructions
